Adela Campo-Portal is a Registered Counselling Psychologist (Psychological Society of Ireland) graduated in Trinity College Dublin. She has experience working with adults, young people and children. In both the English language and the Spanish language.

Her way of working:

A psychodynamic, humanistic and cognitive behaviour therapy approach to the therapeutic process underpins her work. This approach values the holistic nature of each individual. It embraces each person’s unique experience of life, capacity to make choices, and to grow towards personal fulfillment. The therapist’s role is often to make space for that power to emerge.

In her practice Adela sees adults and children with a wide variety of issues, such as stress, anxiety (including separation anxiety), anger, bullying, bereavement, loss, parenting, depression (including postnatal depression), relationship difficulties, stress, trauma, etc. She holds the philosophy that people have the potential to be more than their difficulties.
